Amazing, no words. Buy it if you have to know about Lord Krsna's history.
thoroughly researched and well articulated historiography trying to establish the foundation of bhagvata religion built around the legacy of vasudev one of the 5 vrishni heroes.
The hard copy cover is amazing. I felt it is costly. Should have been around 500-550 range. Thats one of the reason this book did not get the audience it could have. The book covers facts - epigraphic and archeological to trace the beginning of bhagvat religion which worships the cult of 5 vrishni heroes : Vasudev, samkarshan, aniruddh, samba and pradyumna. There was one lady too Eknamsha . Which probably later was identified with Subhadra( recall jagannath puri rath yatra ).I feel now vasudeva of mathura and Krishna of dwarka to be 2 different person. Let see if I can research it on more. The book is must for a research methodological minded student of history and a lesson to how to write authentic historical books. MEENAKSHI JAIN ji is a padma awardee and an eminent historian ,very sweet and very calm person. I bow to her feet and wish her all the best and many more bestsellers. We love you.
